At PoC 2-Way we have a number of different PoC Platforms available, all offering slightly different features and functionality but with the same end goal – reliable, secure group communications. Not all platforms are available on all devices though – please see the device compatibility section under each platform.

Icom’s LTE Radio platform enables two-way communication with the ease and comfort of PTT (Push-To-Talk) operation and nationwide coverage over a 4G (LTE) and 3G network. The Icom platform is built on SIP technology and utilizes the Optus Mobile Network and an Australian cloud-based control server to provide the end user with a seamless radio-like experience anywhere in the country.

The Rapid™ platform is Australian owned & engineered by JNB Electronics in our hometown of Melbourne. Rapid™ is built on the revolutionary IRP® protocol, designed from the ground up to act and feel like a conventional two-way radio system – and it does exactly that. Rapid™ can be ran on almost any Android OS device and incorporates GPS tracking and emergency duress features as standard along with a host of other options.

Vertel’s PTT platform is based on the TASSTA MCPTT (mission critical push-to-talk) platform which incorporates a multitude of features such as group & individual calling, lone worker, emergency & duress, task management, messaging, GPS & voice recording. Vertel’s v.Flex application requires Android OS on end-user devices, while the v.Rodon Windows application provides supervisors with a host of management tools.
